Спортивний комплекс Динамо в Житомирі за довгі роки існування випустив сотні чемпіонів, учасників Олімпійських ігор. Більше того, тут перші кроки до Олімпійської медалі робив Валерій Андрійцев – срібний призер XXX Олімпійських ігор (Лондон, 2012) з вільної боротьби. В комплексі проходили місцеві, регіональні та національні турніри з різних видів спорту: футзал, боротьба, дзюдо, кікбоксинг WAKO та багато інших.

На базі спортивного комплексу працює ДЮСШ “Динамівець”.

Житомир опинився під ударими російської авіації з перших днів війни. Під час одного з бомбардувань вибуховою хвилею пошкоджені вікна, вибиті рами в спортивному залі Фізкультурно-спортивного товариства Динамо.

The Dynamo sports complex in Zhytomyr has produced hundreds of champions, participants of the Olympic Games, over the long years of its existence. Moreover, Valerii Andriitsev – the silver medalist of the XXX Olympic Games (London, 2012) in freestyle wrestling – took the first steps towards an Olympic medal here. The complex hosted local, regional and national tournaments in various sports: futsal, wrestling, judo, WAKO kickboxing and many others.

Based on the sports complex, the “Dynamivets” Children and Youth’s Sports School works.

Zhytomyr was attacked by Russian aircraft from the first days of the war. During one of the bombings, windows were damaged by an explosive wave, frames were knocked out in the sports hall of the Dynamo Physical Culture and Sports Society.
